I also hope that our muesli bar would not be overcooked and burnt.

  3. I have enjoyed tasteing the muesli bars which surprised me because I don't normally taste new foods.
I haven't enjoyed the taste of all the muesli bars especially the nice and natural trail roasted nut bar.
I want to learn about how the rolled oats are put together. Is it mostly good stuff and a little bit bad stuff or the other way around?

  6. I like choosing ingredients to put in our bar. Making them I predict will be quite fun as well. I don't really like how we couldn't make the muesli bars earlier and how we had to make our own recipe. I.would like to know what they taste like hopefully it will at least be OK!

  7. When we're making muesli bars, it's fun making names for our muesli bars and deciding what ingredients to take out, half, or switch with something else. It is hard to find ingredients for our muesli bars that are both healthy and tasty. It's interesting co operating with the rest of the group.

  11. I'm finding our Topic this term fun and cool making Muesli Bars. The down side of making these musli bars is when we made them we forgot a little bit of sugar and at the end there wasn't much flavour in it. The interesting time would be how we got to make up our own recipe and adding in things by the way.
The BERRIE AMAZING BAR was a success!!!

  13. Making muesli bars was great. I loved making them they tasted great even thew there some bad ones. It was interesting using a ANZAC biscuit recipe and turning it into a good tasting healthy muesli bar by changing a few simple ingredients to healthier choices .e.g we turned sugar into cranberries.

  14. I enjoyed making muesli bars I loved trying each other's everyone's muesli bar fit the purpose of making a healthy muesli bar they didn't have to taste good.
We used a base of an ANZAC biscuit but made it healthier because it had 3 quarter cups of sugar so we replaced it with dried fruits.
Then when we compared it with bought ones that we tasted they were way healthier but didn't taste as good but overall it was a good experience.

  15. I loved making the muesli bars because we all got to take turns at doing stuff and they were DELICIOUS.
The part I did not like was we made quite a mess in the pod so next time when ever making muesli bars in the future just remember that we need to not make a mess and clean up after yourself.
I want to know how maple syrup, golden syrup and honey all make the oats and fruit/vegetables stick together. By Myanna.

  16. My group made The Berry Tasty Bar . What I thought was the positives where the way we worked together and we had fun well doing it. We shared the jobs and we were choosing healthy ingredients. I thought that there where lots of negatives the bar didn't taste nice and we were losing track of the method and were for getting what step we were up to. The Banana chips made it taste funny. But on that note there were lost of interesting parts of the muesli bar process we had to learn that if we want the fun of making the muesli bar we have to do the work. My group was trying new and different ideas in taste and shape of our muesli bar. I think my group made a healthy muesli bar that taste really bad.

    1. What a great analysis of your positives and negatives of the muesli bar making process Emily. It's great that you worked well together and had fun. What do you think you could change for next time that might improve your flavour?

  17. My groups muesli bars where burnt! Iit was good that the finished product was tasty at the top, but at the bottom it was definitely one of the most burnt things I've ever had. It was interesting how it turned out to be a crunchy muesli bar, I thought that it would be a crumbly mixture that would fall apart easily. If we where able to watch the muesli bars I think that we would be able to take it out at the right time so it doesn't burn again. When the muesli bars came out they did look a lot like biscuits.
