Our Waiata

We are going to Kirikiriroa Marae on Thursday to experience being part of a powhiri and learn about the different areas of the marae.  We will also get to do some fun activities like learning how to use  the maori rakau weapon.  Make sure you practice these waiata at home so you are super confident when we sing them at the marae during the powhiri!

    I'm happy that I'm going to the Marae because I have Been there befor and I know what I'm doing.
    I don't know the songs bur I'll catch on.

    The Marare will be so much fun learning about other peoples culture and maori is really fun to be involved with if your someone like me who learns alot and likes to learn all about maori.

    I am really nervous but excited because I have never been to a marae before so I probably will have no idea about what I am going to be doing. BY MYANNA!
