Your task this week is to do a Google Search for an image of a plant and find out it's name, or look in your garden and take a photo! Print out the picture and bring it into school with the plant name written on it. If you don't have a printer at home you can print out your images at school from the i-pad.
Write a comment here on the blog that includes the name of your chosen plant and a description of it.

I chose a white rose because we have them in our garden . they grow of a little tree you can tell it is a rose tree because they have roses on them and they have thorns witch are really sharp.

I choose a Hybuscus because they are all different types of colors they are blue and pink and orange and green and red and and all the other colors you could possibly think of exept from brown and black and grey obviously. The hybuscus has a stork hanging out of it in amazing ways

I have chosen Sunflowers . last year our class room ten, planted them in the little garden around the tank in front of the Marama pod. Sunflowers have long green stalks ,it's brown in the middle full of Sunflower seeds, on the outside of the flower lovely standing out yellow pedals. By Emily

ReplyDeleteI have chosen a balloon flower for my plant. The balloon flower can come in pink and white but is most common in blue-violet. The balloon flower is star shaped and puffy, so people can pop them. ( therefore giving us their name).

I have chosen a Venus flytrap, they are carnivorous plants. It catches its prey, bugs and insects. They have tiny hairs on their inner surface. When it's prey is crawling along the leaves it contacts a hair, the trap closes if a different hair is contacted within 20 seconds. By Kelly
