Daffidol Day


Apologies for not posting this earlier this week!  I forgot to publish the post!


This week we are raising awareness and money for Daffodil day.  Do some research and in your own words write on the blog what Daffodil day is all about and your opinion of it.  Write in full sentences and sign off with your name.

    Daffodil Day is about raising money and awareness about cancer. I think it's a great way to donate money because it is a fun day for kids to dress up in yellow and do a parade.

    I think it is about showing support to raise money for cancer you can show support by wearing yellow or make daffodil art or wear a daffodil this all supporting research for a cure and it happens once a year on the 28/8.

    Daffodil Day is about fundrasing for the Cancer Society. The daffodil represents the first flowers of spring whose bright yellow blooms remind us of the joys the new season will bring. It represents the hope there is for the 1 in 3 New Zealanders affected by cancer. The donations we provide go towards scientific research on the causes of all different types of cancer.

    Daffodil day is about fundraising little daffodils and stickers for money to help people who have cancer and might save their lives.
